Palos

Hand-thrown ceramic vessels for hand-poured candles, made with Alex.

Palos sells candles in ceramic vessels. I make the vessels and Alex pours the candles. The brand is a few months old.

The next step is slip casting, so the vessels can be made in larger numbers once the product has sold well at markets. I took a slip casting class in San Francisco in spring 2025.

Identity

The wordmark started as a notebook sketch. Every vessel is stamped “Palos, made in Santa Monica” on the base. The box is a concept mock-up.
